So all the prizes have been claimed and the confetti has finally settled, but because it was so awesome we had to come up with some more awards!

This is also gonna be a re-cap for the 400 + of you who want to relive the amazing night. And for those who weren’t there, YOU MISSED AN INCREDIBLE TIME AND WE’RE JUST ABOUT TO RUB IT IN YOUR FACE.

BEST HYPE-MAKER

Fans gathered outside Zouk (official venue sponsor and winner of Favourite Nightspot) as early as 5. 30 pm to welcome all their favourite celebs on the red carpet. We couldn’t decide on just winner for this, because TWO groups of people stood out the most with their posters, signs and [almost] hysteric screaming as their favourite celebs arrived.

We especially loved the energy from Felicia Chin‘s (winner of Hottest Female Personality I Wanna Date) and Nat Ho‘s (winner of Cutest Male Personality I Wanna Bring Home) fan clubs! They kept the hype up, up, up with their cheering and whistle-blowing.

Can we haz a fan club too?

MOST FABULOUS FASHIONISTA

The screaming got louder when the celebs showed up in their fanciest threads, strutting down the red carpet. Double duty points for you, Mr Red Carpet! You’re a fashion runway too!

Here are some nominees:

Nat looked so QT PIE with his little black bow tie on a blue denim shirt. Guys, take a tip! Smart Casual 101!

Felicia was a Singaporean class act in a blue flowy DKNY dress. Take that, humidity and 33 degree Celcius temperatures!

But the award definitely goes to Little Miss Aarika from Sixx (nominee for Band I Wanna Throw Myself At)!

The pretty lady showed up in a fairytale dream of a dress; a black bustier with layers and layers of cream tulle. She looked like a princess walking down the carpet, and we especially loved the cornrows that lent an unexpected urban twist to her look.

QUOTE WE MIGHT CONSIDER AS A TATTOO

That one-liner that makes you feel something stir within yourself. It could be humorous, inspiring or downright blunt, but it’s something that resonates with you enough for you to permanently etch it on your skin.

Feedback was thunderous when Mr Yam Ah Mee said “Pursuant to Section 49, Sub-section 7E, Paragraph A of the m:idea Youth Choice Awards 2012, I declare that all of you are the best tonight!” when he received the award.

But our favourite quote of the night would definitely be from Nat Ho.

“Maybe we’ll fly to the moon,” he joked about the potential location of next year’s MYCA. Oh, Nat, you have no idea what this beautiful quote means to us.

 BEST AUDIENCE SHOUT-OUT

First of all, we would like to thank you so much for not heckling and keeping things clean at the party. You guys were so well-behaved! But with any sporting, enthusiastic audience, we’d have hilarious one-liners that would have been shouted out at any point of time during the show. Again we couldn’t decide, so we ended up choosing two favourite from the night!

Irene: What “wahlaoweh”????! Very rude, okay! One day you’ll be 43 too, okay!
